Lydia Chambers is a founding partner of Back2Tap, a green business that seeks to reduce the consumption of bottled water by encouraging people to drink tap water from reusable bottles. Back2Tap sells custom logoed stainless steel water bottles to schools and other non-profits as a green fundraising opportunity, to corporations, and to individuals who wish to lessen their carbon footprint and choose a more sustainable lifestyle. Back2Tap is adding custom logoed fair trade organic cotton bags to their product line.
Always an environmentalist and proud to say so, Lydia was educated as a geologist. She worked in the oil industry during the first part of her career and then started volunteering as a community organizer of several grass roots environmental campaigns: pesticide reduction, anti-idling, and back2tap.
